Kathy Walsh

 

Kathy Walsh spent her professional career as an educator, teaching elementary school and then as an administrator in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. After retirement in 2005, she began to take classes with Lynne Railsback with focus on botanical art. That interest has continued, including classes from Heeyoung Kim. Her works in graphite, watercolor and colored pencil have been exhibited at the GLAF Gallery 223, Watercolor Wisconsin in Racine and various locations around the lakes area. She participated in the Kishwauketoe wildflower documentation project in Williams Bay resulting informational brochures, one for each season.
